David Bunston is President of Real Estate for Georgian International. David developed a passion for real estate at an early age as a third generation member in a long-standing Canadian real estate family.
His formal real estate career began in 1979 with Cushman & Wakefield’s Canadian Commercial Development Division based in Calgary, analyzing and managing pension fund and institutional client property development. David was also involved with Marathon Realty Company’s asset management division for Western Canada supervising and managing a portfolio of office, industrial and residential properties. In 1985, he joined Bunston Private Equity to pursue its involvement in the co-investment of private equity funds in real estate and began a relationship with Georgian International that same year to focus on commercial and residential development projects in Simcoe County.
Mr. Bunston is one of the founders of Evton Capital Partners in Toronto and a graduate of McMaster University, where he holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
